If not, then leave a bit of space, and add cold water instead of milk to cool it after it has brewed, if you want to drink it quickly.

Now a cuppa can be cooled with milk for watching the telly, but the ultimate is the NATO standard, milk and two sugars paired with a jaffa cake.

Had milk but no sugar so we dropped a jaffa cake in the mugs, omg it was like a hot helping of calf poop but tasted awesome. For me its gotta be a plain chocolate digestive, also got to admit to bourbon creams dunked.

back in the 70's on an Outward Bound course for managers, learning how to snow hole , white water kayak etc. Went farcically wrong anyway - got buried under about 12 foot of fresh snow and spin drift and wasn't aware of that until the candles went out...........

I used to love moidart, it was artic in the winter. Always lovwd the extremes from desert, jungle to artic. Something about walking away from them always makes you feel alive.

If you dump a lot of snow in you sometimes end up with little snowmelt in the bottom and just snow higher up, a little dab will do you and just keep adding as the water heats and melts it.
