A lot of wind around here in Mid-MO...

Not only did it cause our car to swerve slightly while going out to get groceries, but we came back to see a large branch out on the edge of the backyard. It didn't hit anything, but I'm certainly going to have to get the axe out to cut it up enough to move it out of the yard. One of my neighbor's small trees didn't fare so well, though. It's completely down at the moment...

Woke up to 57 degrees this AM, rose quickly into the mid 60's. It's 52 here now and the temps are dropping precipitously. Strong wind out of the NW. Not a pleasant day.

nice & sunny & surprisingly warm--but we're getting blasted with gale-force winds. At times the whole house shakes from the force.
