That is surprising.

I'm guessing they must really LOVE Christmas...

A lot of my neighbors still have their Halloween decorations up.

We used to start 1st Dec weekend, which was/is when 'our' tree guy began selling, and on from there.

on the last day of school before winter vacation, when all the classrooms threw out their trees and we could pick one from among the cast-offs.

He never took his multicolored lights down.
He also turned the lights on long after Christmas was over.
