1. I was so pissed for that low wall.

If the wall was higher like Fenway, that would have cleared the bases and possibly gone for a triple (maybe not, as was subsequently demonstrated Ross is slow as molasses) rather than ending up 2nd and 3rd on a ground-rule double.

The Sox don't really have much of an inventory when it comes to "elitist" players. Sure, Ortiz is pretty elite, and Lester is making his way there. But the rest of the team is pretty scrappy. They just work hard and play good ball.

Boston has not won a World Series in Fenway in nearly 100 years. (1918)

The last two WS wins for the Sox concluded on the road. If the Sox win the WS at home, the city is going to be a party for days.
