Most interesting stat. In the 2013 playoff games played in St. Louis
the Cards have won 5 and lost just 1.

Looking forward to more of this great Series.

I don't watch it. I do have a former boss who is rooting for the Cards. Plus a whole gaggle of relations who are Red Sox fans, Uncle is from Boston area. Hope you had/have fun.

Besides if the Dodgers aren't in the series I don't care, GO BROOKLYN!

This isn't a good day for Missouri sports. If the Chiefs lose tomorrow, I'll likely be on Sports Suicide Watch.

EDIT: And that ending was insane. Looked to be the right call, though.

and pitched both their setup and closer longer outings tonight.

The Red Sox will more likely than not use Doubront again tomorrow, as his outing tonight was brief, about as long as his throwing session on any other off-day. That will eat up most of their relief needs. With Dempster available...they have enough arms to handle tomorrow easily.

Maybe tomorrow Boston will actually use Napoli instead of having him ride the pine.

Gotta love it. The two teams with most world series wins the past 10 years battling it out again. Today's game shows it's gonna be a dog fight.

but that call at the end was kinda effed up. The 3rd baseman clearly didn't trip the runner up intentionally; they just had their legs tangled up.

the umpires held a presser after the game to explain why the call was made and they said that the intent was not a factor in the ruling.

Sucky way to end the game, but Jim Joyce got it right and all the umpires agreed it was obstruction.

Wonderful of YOU to post and remind me of the Pats threads....and your prediction. I got cranky last night, I usually don't cuss but in William Pitt's thread on Fox media, and how the game ended....I let off some steam.
Oh well I just don't like Banksters and Bank America/Countrywide for hurting so many people, end of story..

But On to tonight's game friend, hope you got a great prediction.

And Thank You for bringing a smile to me, seaglass.

Mike Napoli pulls on Jonny Gomes' beard after Gomes hit a three-run home run off of Cardinals relief pitcher Seth Maness in the sixth inning of Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday night in St. Louis. In the foreground, Dustin Padroia is congratulated by teammates after scoring on Gomes' homer.
