Why can't they just throw up on the floor?
Sorry. I am trying to wean myself from Facebook, but the urge to share the minutia of my life with the universe is still strong.

It could be worse ... like a cat hairball in your slippers.

(9,854 posts)Nothing gets us moving in this house like the sound of animal gagging. Except maybe kid gagging. But the kids are pretty well grown, so they can pretty much take care of themselves these days.
We have five dogs. I have no idea HOW we got that many dogs, other than that I have a hard time passing up a sad face on the side of the road. Our most recent addition is about eight months old and some kind of yellow lab/terrier mix. His name is Jack and he is the happiest, stupidest dog I think we have ever had. He always has a big ole grin on his face and he runs with wild abandon everywhere he goes.
He also eats absolutely anything. It really kind of scares me sometimes. I took a piece of broken bottle out of his mouth at the barn the other day. I think he found it on the road. He was just chomping away on it. He will EAT sticks, plastic, metal, etc. Sometimes it stays down and comes out the other end. Sometimes it comes back up the way it went in. We are just hoping he will not eat anything that costs us a bloody fortune to fix him for and that he survives this puppy stage.
