What would you do? I have a small IRA and it got hit bad last time. It just came back strong this summer and I hate to lose those gains. I'm over 60, so that helps.

(5,317 posts)If you are able to sell at current value and then the market crashes, it would be a good time to buy. I'm expecting a default to be averted, but perhaps I underestimate the stupidity of some members of Congress.
I don't know what I would do in your position. I would be a little uneasy too.

(27,449 posts)I certainly don't like this but maybe the financial backers of the GOP will start making some serious phone calls. Letting this go or much longer is going to cost a lot and not just for the little guys like us.
All the drama makes us anxious and I'm so tired of it.
