"Be proud at me."

There is a commercial running on TV now that has a Mom saying she wants her children to 'Be proud at me.' I've never heard that before. We always said, "Be proud of me."

Is 'Be proud at me' a regional version? Have you heard it?

I always tell my wife that her actions "tempt me to be proud of" her.

"I'm proud of you" has always struck me as presumptuous, a claiming of credit for someone else's awesomeness.
