ou may now kiss the bride — from behind bars.

A man who was sentenced by a judge to 53 years to life in prison for murder also had a glimmer of hope — he was married to his longtime sweetheart by the judge minutes later.

Danne Desbrow, 36, was sentenced Sept. 17 by San Diego Superior Court Judge Patricia Cookson. Minutes after she handed down his sentence, she helped him and his fiancée, Destiny Winters, tie the knot.

U-T San Diego reported Monday that the judge even baked a Bundt cake to help the newlyweds celebrate.
