I am watching Breaking Bad marathon and I am not understanding Jesse.

He has confused me since I started watching on the marathon.

He is one messed up kid.

Lots of chances but always screwing up.

I would have taken the money and took off for a new life.

Also Walts brother and sister in law.

Who's money helped you walk again.

He had serious misgivings about the harm he's caused.

He could have done some good things with the money.

Jesse just keeps making the problem worse.

Walter started off with a good reason but got greedy.

Jesse just had a chance a new name and everything.

All he had to do was into the car and go.

I would have and never looked back.

He was kid and made mistakes, we all do.

He should have moved on.

doesn't believe he's a good person--but he has a conscience. His parents kicked him out of their lives and he believes he's still the same, *bad* kid that messed up his life. He also keeps trying to make connections to people, but those people are troubled too (like Walt) and either lead him into further trouble/danger or they abandon him.

Jesse is a fascinating and heart-breaking character.

He should have taken his girlfriend and her kid and just went off somewheres.

The girlfriend was his chance for a better life.

His parents were terrible.

I really liked when Jesse bought his parents house.

Jesse is follower not a leader.

I find Jesse actually the most compelling character. I guess maybe because I can relate to the concept of someone being mistreated by their parents. The father is clearly a perfectionist, the mother kind of cold to him in a way. I think he was just role playing his lifestyle, and reality only sunk in that it was for real when it got dangerous with Walt. I think he is a good kid, just facing a lot of issues. I am anxious to see how this progresses.

Most people who are into this show absolutely love him. Things spiraled out of control. At his core he is so kind and sensitive. He will go down as one of the most tragic figures in television history.

If I had his money I would taken off and never looked back.

He keeps going back for more.

I am a new comer to the show so I don't have the history with Jesse.

He could have done better.

I did have hopes for him on Thursday and Friday but I gave up on him.

Jesse loved his drugs to much, that was his downfall.

He keeps making the same mistakes over and over.

At some point you have to learn from your mistakes and move on.

I only drink one beer when I do drink.

Jesse had the makings of a good person but family and drugs got in the way.

Still one has to make one choices in life, I have made my share of mistakes.

Going back to the same miserable life style wasn't one of them.

I don't think the show would have been so successful without Jesse.

Walt needed Jesse. Jesse needed Walt.

I'll have to watch and see if Walt becomes sort of a father figure to Jesse on some way as this moves forward.

Walt had the science but Jesse had the connections.

Walt does care for Jesse, and Jesse for Walt.

Jesse is childhood, or rather, childhood's end, a common theme in literature. He doesn't just "like" children. He is childhood becoming adulthood. It's certainly why he's drawn to children, and why everything about him is so childlike, but also so tragic. He's at the cusp, the moment of transition: BB may be all about various kinds of transitions; Jesse is that particular kind - the (always) tragic becoming adult of the child. He could only have ended the series as he did, an adult, with nothing but future before him, every sign of childhood smashed.
