What the Lone Ranger left behind and Red Skelton's hobo. I feel old now but I can't tell if it's more for how much I knew or the ones I couldn't remember.

Although I realized Fter reading the answers that I do remember Freddy the Freeloader (just not when I need to!). All I could come up with was Clem Kaddiddlehopper (sp?). Apparently, we're all about the same age, no?

I think absorbed a lot from my older siblings who were born in the 50s.

I missed the Lone Ranger question, Freddy the Freeloader, and Lucky Strike.

Thanks for posting - this was fun.

The Long Ranger/ silver bullet and LS/MFT (although if you had written it as "___ ___ means fine tobacco" I probably would have gotten it, since I remember all those cigarette slogans (but fortunately never took up the habit).

Number 11 is wrong.

Flags were most definitely burned protesting the Vietnam War.
http://iml.jou.ufl.edu/projects/fall01/gause/history.htm

Bras weren't burn either protesting the war or supporting Women's Liberation. Strictly an urban legend.

I only sort of know who Red Skelton is, and though I've heard Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco, I didn't know LSM/FT.

Hula Hoops and Beetle/Bugs as a nickname were still around when I was a kid in the late 80s.
