I haven't done anything creative yet today, but the day is still young!

I have poems to write/edit for a workshop I'm taking, and I will most likely start this process in the afternoon.

Will that do?

What haven't I done? I'll spare the trivial details, highlights are getting my new contacts ordered, finishing up a few tax returns on extension, and getting a state refund for an " innocent spouse".

wish I could draw... my son can and is VERY good...

the day is still young; just taking a break from clearing part of my property... chipping larger branches and burning small ones (wish 4 or 5 of you could come and help me keep the fire going... I would provide all the stuff for smores )

having had issues booking a holiday running from last November to recently with the need to avoid conflicts with a friend coming over to the UK from OH and my sister from Perth Oz I bundled myself at short notice onto a 7 day water colour painting course down in Malaga Spain last week. I have no interest whatsoever in painting , other than doors and ceilings whatever, and just wanted to chill out for a week in the sun. The five elderly ladies there, apart from a dance friend who is also an artist and who ran the course , were serious painters who managed to drag me in to the fray. So at least now I know how to paint skies , hills / mountains and shadows on buildings.

The upside of the earlier conflicts was that I DIDN'T fly to Egypt c. July 7th for a Nile Cruise.

I might see if I can paint some sunflowers.

I,

-Woke Up
-Drove to Work
-Had a coffee and croissant
-Worked
-Had lunch
-Worked
-Drove Home
-Did the 1st day of the 2nd stage of Insanity (An hour and thirty minutes of hell)
-Took a shower
-Built a Model Gundam
-Went further along my attempt to figure out a rendition of "For the Longest Time" in the Ukulele.

Heck, Van Gogh is a slacker.
(I kid around)
