Interesting project. They took old crime scene photos and went to the same locations today then blended the 2 images. Ghostly.

1. Very cool! The fish market fire and the cathedral fire in particular

are really seamless...

2. I think most are well done. The crime scene shots remind me how much ONE picture had to

say in the era before video. In that one shot above, we have the empty tricycle, the grieving woman, the priest -- layering that into the present creates an image which embodies the emotional energy implanted on that spot years ago.

They really convey the sense that the city carries its history within its geography.
