To me this was a surprisingly good little horror film loosely based on the HP Lovecraft story of the same name about the alien great old ones and a village containing their worshippers (set in Catalonia, Spain instead of New England). I think it's probably the highest quality film to interpret Lovecraft. You can find the full movie on youtube.

Tobe Hooper movie with really good special effects and really cheesy dialog and acting. Of course Mathilda May waking up in the lab and vampiring her way out naked didn't hurt.
