"Leave the body. Take the canolis."

There is a nifty little Italian place just off Monument Circle I patronize occasionally. It's run by a guy from Ischia, a small island off the coast of Naples. There is a sign advertising that they now have canolis. Canolis always make me think of "The Godfather."

When I have an evening with the house to myself, no place to go, I'll make a big heaping plate of pasta, crack open a bottle of Chianti, and put on 'The Godfather'.

It's a masterpiece. I never get tired of it.

with a bunch of guys who were chefs in real life and one of the team names was "Take the Cannoli"..all the rest were also food related..

..mine was "Wellington is RAW"...

(I am not a chef in real life or even in my mind - they just needed another player to even up the league and since my daughter and I love watching Chef Ramsey yell at people I decided that's how I would keep with the theme)
