Great rendition.

I'm not at all familiar with Mr Mould, but he sounds worth checking out.

Husker Du got the label of "Speed Metal"...a pretty accurate description. On their final three albums ("Flip Your Wig," "Candy Apple Grey," and "Warehouse: Songs & Stories&quot they moved progressively into tighter, better written songs with less emphasis on the "speed." Ironically, they gained new fans while their old ones felt betrayed...kind of like Metallica, I guess.

I still think Bob's first two solo albums are great ("Workbook" and "Black Sheets Of Rain&quot . His most recent, "Silver Age" (2012) is uniformly killer. All told he's had 12 post-Husker Du albums, including 3 with a new band he formed, Sugar...kind of like a power-pop version of Husker Du, for lack of a better description.

Definitely an artist worth checking out, though.

...and I was standing at a red light that time next to Peter Buck.

Such is life in New York City...
