Funny several weeks ago we were about to begin a very busy shift during a particularly hot and humid afternoon and I was totally bummed out and demoralized when the usual overly cheerful glass half-full guy says: "Don't get so bummed out....it's only 8 hours". Only 8 hours!? I felt like shit after barely 8 minutes and felt like pummeling him.
