My A1c was high last check up. It had been doing well but somehow I forgot to stop eating dessert between check-up before last and last one and it was getting close to 10 I think (I forget the number but it was more than 7 and doc was mad at me lol).

He put me on a twice a day pill instead of the 1 a day Metformin. I've been doing the glucose check most every day but it'as swinging crazy style - from 90 in the morning to 230 after dinner and some weird numbers in between during the day - I've gotten weak and dizzy and my mouth went numb and went and checked glucose and it was 63 - this after not eating all day...I generally don't eat during the weekends except for one big meal. I drink black coffee and water all day...I guess I need to be more consistent no matter what I eat...

Seriously, you gotta eat avery couple of hours or so. Keep the blood sugar more on an even keel and all.

Take care of yourself, geek.

I really need to learn how to eat like that - I wonder if I should get a mini-fridge for my office...might help with a lot of things if I can keep lunch and snacks in there...

I share an office with one other guy and maybe I can get him to go in with me on a little bit bigger one...then if one of us leaves the other can buy him out or vice versa...Sounds like a good plan...only problem is he;s a repub. Noit sure I wan tmy good liberal food hanging out with his right-wing stuff...lol

Danger of just too many calories.

I tend to go for a snack bar or a piece of fruit on every break (2 hours, generally). Then eat regular meals at 'normal' hours. I'm currently on nights, so it can be difficult.

I'm not sure I could go a full day on just one meal. Like you said ealier, I get jumpy and irritable when my blood sugar drops. I don't think I've had it go down to the 60's, though.
