I finally put my new sticker on my licence plate !!! The old one expired two months ago

I've had the new one since before the old one expired

But it was pouring rain the day I got it so I didn't put it on then

And then we had a really wet summer

So every time I remembered about putting on the sticker it was raining

But yesterday I remembered -- and it was a nice dry day, so I finished the job

Whew! No more wondering about the cops following me on rainy nights!

It's pouring rain right now: I guess that's why it came to mind again

Two months? Those stickers don't last forever: I would've gone back to the DMV to get a fresh one

Plate stickers actually contain electronics that allow the CIA to steer your car, y'know

you probably would not have been cited for driving an unregistered car and gotten off with a verbal warning. By the way, if you wipe the spot on the plate dry with a towel, the sticker will stick.

I think we had the wettest rainiest Summer on record in GA this year. I imagine our Summer is what England must be like all the time, cloudy and dank.

I feel like we didn't even have Summer this year, and it's almost over.

I got a citation with a fill-in form: within 14 days or so I was supposed to return the form signed by a LEO, witnessing that I now had the sticker on my car, and the citation was automatically dismissed when when I did that

This time I had the sticker in my glove box, so I'd have been able to show it if I'd been stopped

Sticker expired at midnight. Copper wrote the ticket at 1am in front of the house.

I went out at 6am sunday morning when I remembered the sticker. Too late.

by law, they can't write a ticket here until the sticker's been expired for at least two weeks
