Julie Harris was tremendous in that.

(3,445 posts)She was one of the greatest actresses who ever lived. I first saw her performance in The Belle of Amherst on PBS when I was a kid, and it still haunts me to this day.
What a tremendous loss for the theatre....

(70,700 posts)And she was her always usual great but Liz and Marlon, who were so often misused, were here well herded by Huston. Julie got a great line, her of a certain social status looking around the asylum they committed her to. What a choice crew, she said.
