That drug cartel kingpin doesn't fit my image of those guys. I can't imagine one of them schlepping a bag through a tunnel. I imagine them in fancy clothes, big houses, and having other people doing the work for them.

(46,753 posts)In the last show she showed plenty of emotion when the girl died. I don't know a lot about the syndrome, but I'm guessing that people who have it find it easy to close themselves off emotionally by getting consumed by something that preoccupies the logic side of the brain.
I lived in Latin America and I would say that the image of the Scarface type of drug kingpin is probably just the best known stereotype. It's believable that there would be more stoic types.

When it comes to the drug business you probably get all sorts. Not to say that any of them will be long-lived. Whoever can work under the radar probably has a better chance of retiring as an old man.

All the characters seemed to know who he was, but he didn't look familiar to me or my wife.

(61,696 posts)is great in her role. Her literal and contextual thinking bring all kinds of grief to people around her and herself. I think her having Aspergers makes for an interesting twist.
