I like his ears, he's listening to the front and to the right Bet it's a spoiled housecat playing like it's In The Wild!

had sapphire blue eyes. The shelter from which I adopted him thought he was a Himalayan mix. He was a wonderful cat but always looked so sad because he had led such a hard life before being rescued. The five years we spent together were, I am sure, the best of his life. I still miss him even though I love my current cat.

she said I was the first person who had called about him in the year she had fostered him. I knew at that second he was my cat. The poor guy had been raised as an indoor kitten, then kicked out to be an outdoor cat. He lived outside for at least seven years before the people who left food and water out simply moved away and left him behind. Neighbors called Feline Rescue and he was saved, though he lost all of one ear and most of the other to Minnesota winter weather. He stuck with me through the toughest times of my life.

A week after I got my current job, which is decent, he collapsed trying to jump down from the couch. He carried me to where I had to be, but couldn't go on any longer. The vet said his kidneys had given out and that he had to be around 16 years old. The day he had to be put down was the worst day of my adult life - I held him as the vet gave him the shot. I cried every day for a month afterwards. I wll cherish his memory until the day I shuffle off this mortal coil. Max was a very precious and special little soul.

The more I see of people, the better I like cats.
