I don't think you're old at all!

*I'm* a lot older than you are, and I don't feel old (well, mostly!) either!

AARP starts sending that stuff out way too early, IMHO...

Have a hug, sweetie!

i'm 56, and my own doctor told me just a week ago that i am NOT old, i'm middle aged!

i said on the other hand, i will be long gone before i hit 112.

AARP will continue to hound you from here on out as far as i know. six years after my 50th birthday and i'm still getting crap from them.

by the way, once you're 50 you'll be happy to know that you are not old after all. after you're 60 you'll be tickled to find out that's not even old! after you're 70 you may be able to keep up that fiction, but once you're after 80, you're just old. so you've got like at least 30 years before you're old!

They went away until about 6 months before I turned 50. I have been ignoring them.

By the way, although there are some things AARP does we don't agree with, we've saved hundreds of dollars a year on car insurance through them. We also get a nice discount on hotels, though it's about the same discount at the same places as AAA gives us.
