No wires on the tv. Cat doesn't actually touch the TV enough to knock it over, base is too wide to have tilted like that without a string pulling it from the top and cat doesn't even follow the noise and the guy leaping up.

According to my husband, a vet, old tvs had a 60 cycle thing happening. If you took a photo of an old tv, you would get a wide line across the screen. Apparently, this is what dogs saw. So with the new led and plasma screens, this no longer happens, and dogs can see the images on the screen. Presumably the same applies to cats, but he's at work, so I can't confirm.
