peanut butter? mint? caramel? fruit? or are you one of those fuck it, give it to me straight type of folks?
i go between caramel and mint. i love peppermint patties and will make myself sick eating them. but caramel....oh caramel. there was a whole chocolate caramel bar in the cabinet when i got home, now there's only half of one and it may very well be gone by the time i go to bed.
wish i could post this as a poll.

(10,237 posts)peanut butter and chocolate = must have milk -okay a cup of coffee will do too. Of all the evil miserable things humans have devised
chocolate sure isn't one of them .

(29,149 posts)There is a chocolatier in San Diego, Chuao, which has a bar they call the firecracker. It's dark chocolate, chipotle pepper, sea salt, and pop rocks. That's probably my favorite combination. I also like dark chocolate with just cayenne pepper.
Those are my favorite combinations for savoring. For gorging, my favorite combination is peanut butter. I like pepper mint patties, too--I like putting them in the freezer; they're great cold. (I do this with mini reese's too.)
I really wish I had some chocolate right now

(17,101 posts)my favourite chocolatier has a new one out that I absolutely fell in love with, Honey Anise. Made with the most delectable Belgian milk chocolate.
I also used to buy a milk chocolate lavender bar which was tasty, but I can't find it anymore.
I worship at the throne of whoever put sea salt, caramel and chocolate together. I am forever indebted.
Oops, almost forgot Sweet Georgia Browns from Purdy's. A few rungs up the steps from a Turtle, plus 3x the amount of caramel.

(20,234 posts)possibly a little above that is wine filled chocolates:
Use a chocolate mold, brush thickly with melted chocolate, freeze til hard. Fill with wine (a syringe like you would use to feed a baby animal works will). Freeze til hard again. Top with chocolate, freeze again, pop out of mold. When it gets off frozen temps, you have a liquid wine center.
Chocolate dipped strawberries (allowed to harden) are pretty good.
