I understand there's a little club somewhere on Route 66 where he still performs and his devoted groupies/fans go to adore him. (I read about this a couple of years ago so I assume he's not died or anything).

Worst singer ever. But the angst was magnificent.

used to play one of his albums when I was a child. I grew to appreciate him. Glad he is still around performing.
