(6,261 posts)But I heard him explain this during an interview. It's all about the audience that needs to be reached. Sure, he could do this on PBS again and reach the same people who are already on board, or he could try to reach out to a new audience who really needs to hear his message.
I think he said he was promised there would be no censorship or editorial interference and if that's the case, it makes a lot of sense to do this on FOX. I hope he won't shy away from the strong environmental message that was in the original series.
Fingers crossed it will come off as intended.

(6,261 posts)Almost certainly. Carl Sagan pissed off the Reagan white house talking about Nuclear Winter. Here's hoping Neil can do the same thing to the Koch brothers and their hired help and really explain Global Climate Change to the Fox viewers. I confess I fear it isn't going to happen, but we can hope...
