Got a little too much sun on the walk I just finished. 11.2 km (6.9 miles) 1/2 up steep hills all in the hot sun when you are not in good enough shape, maybe not the best idea I've ever had. But it feels great to have finished it and I'm going to be doing more, I'll just try to get a little less sun

Anyway I live in North Vancouver which is very hilly, North and West Vancouver are basically just on the slopes of the mountains. Walking up Lonsdale St. I noticed these houses have some pretty dam nice views. Actually lots and lots of houses on the north shore have spectacular views, and prices tags to match. Kind of a hazy day as you can see.

2. You kind of get spoilled living here and don't notice it...

Which is why it's nice to get out and go for this kind of long walk or hike, or a long drive. Anything to get you out, your brain shut off and your eyes open.
