storylines and characters were interesting but, it was hard (for me) to follow and I think it dragged in a couple of places because of that.

The previews looked beautiful. I read about the storyline and figured it would be interesting.

so many characters intertwined over so many time periods and then they keep jumping back and forth between the characters and the time periods. Disjointed, for me. Also, the characters look very different from one period to the next and that did not help with continuity either.

Maybe, I just need to watch it again.
