Name something personal you keep in your office that is "out of place" but useful to you.

Everyone does it -- what do you keep at work that you use that seems a little "weird" for work.

Mine: I have a collection of oils sitting on top of the bookcase -- Avocado, Safflower, Olive, Walnut, Hazelnut, un-toasted Sesame, Coconut, Grape Seed, Almond. I keep them there because I need more "healthy" fats in my diet -- easy to add a tablespoon to whatever I'm eating for lunch.

which confused the hell out of my sister who also uses the office.

i haven't taken any time to personalize my office as i usually only use it for about 90 minutes a day and that's only if my sister isn't in.

rubber band nerf rockets, Homer Simpson Rubik's head, Transformers Bumblebee head, an old hard drive with the cover removed so I can use the platter is a mirror.

Actually this is all pretty typical for an IT dept. My boss has a Nerf Gatlin gun. We had some little radio controlled helicopters but crashed them all.

It's not actually out of place in a medical office, but I keep it as a reminder of my Dad's good qualities.

I also have a replica Dallas Cowboys football helmet on my bookshelf. I got it as a kid, and it doesn't fit anymore. I'm no longer a fan of the Cowboys, but I can't bear to part with the helmet. It makes a fun decoration.

and I have a satellite radio in it. It's one of those portable deals that you can remove easily to transfer it to another vehicle. It may not sound that strange, but I'm the only one out of 30 drivers where I work to have one. I love it, too. It costs about $170 a year for the subscription and it's worth every penny. It helps make my job tolerable.

Here's a lugger truck:
