What is your favourite way to eat tomatoes NRalieigh? I'm looking for cooking ideas.

Salsa I'll try. I think a mango, tomato, cilantro, lime and pepper salsa. Thanks.

slabs layered with mozzarella, basil, olive oil and parmesan....gazpacho...
the usual!
With great tomatoes (the big heirlooms), gotta keep it simple to let the various flavors (whoops...will Canada-ize it - flavours!) and compexities shine through!

The first one just ripened. It was so delicious i ate it without salt (I never eat tomatoes without salt).
I went out to see what variety it was so I could grow it again next year, and the little marker is gone.
I'm sure I will figure out what it is once I get around to looking it up.
