(82,333 posts)Cost him $1400 but he had a warranty. Bats came back. Guy came back. He checked the seals and capped some holes. Bats came back. He called the guy again. The guy never came back. Check references.

(6,581 posts)But not in an attic. The urine and feces are an odor and possibly a health problem. Not to mention the remote but real possibility of rabies.
I agree, put up a bat house in a tree, and have them do the removal and put up the barriers.

(10,000 posts)In part becuse we have never had (and still don't have) any guano smell. So either we have a very small number of bats, or we have mice and the pest control guy is wrong.
My understanding is that remeddiaors will frequently install a bat house in the course of the remediation. We'll see what they recommend.
