Especially the song "Wild Thing", which the boys in my 9th grade class turned from, "Wild Thing...You make my heart sing..."

to:

"Wind Thing...You make my thing spring..."

Lame enough on its own, but they were actually singing it to/for a girl who was like the epitome of un-coolness and, in their views, un-hotness.

It was their nickname for her.

She was my friend.

he also wrote Just call me Angel in The Morning and Son Of A Rotten Gambler plus tons of other great songs .

Jon Voight is his older brother who is Angelina Joley Pitts father who to my knowledge has not done a movie with Kevin Bacon .

Wild Thing was really made famous by Jimi Hendrix

Just joking, I was aware that Chip Taylor is her uncle. Just Call Me Angel of the Morning was my stand-on-the-bed-with-the hairbrush song.

what my stand-on-the-bed-with-the-hairbrush song was when I was a teen, but when I got a bit older, it definitely became Aretha Franklin's "Another Night".

"My man, I don't need YOU to be bringin' me down! HEY!!!!"

Go girl!

Iggy Pop, The Ramones, and others credited them for their innovative sound that was ahead of its time.

Someone left the tape running while they were in the studio recording a song called "Tranquility" and a disagreement rose...The tape was released as a record called "The Trogg Tapes"! It contains more f-bombs than you'll probably hear anywhere else in ten minutes and was supposedly an inspiration for Spinal Tap...it's pretty funny too!

"If you've got the time, we've got the beer.

Mil-ler tastes too good to hurry through.

So when it's time to relax

One beer stands clear (beer after beer).

If you've got the time, we've got the beer!"

I have on one of my CD's the Moody Blues doing a Coca-Cola jingle.

I can't think of any other 60's groups that did ads, but I'm sure there are more.

By the way, I don't think the Troggs ever did "Spooky"-- the most popular version was sung by Classics IV (of "Traces" fame)
