If it's chicken tacos, nothing but the chicken. If it's beef tacos, shredded cheddar cheese. What can I say, I'm a purist.

I'm vegan. I also move back and forth between Mexico and the US, so I'm a bit of a purist.

Not hot in the least, but FULL of flavor. Canned green chiles are more
than good enough.

I saw your question about refried beans. I get mine in a can and they're really
versatile. Bean-and-cheese burritos are excellent and consist of no more than
those two ingredient wrapped in a tortilla.
.
I like these, though there's really no taste of chiles nor lime... so I add my
own lime juice Out here, we get little key limes 10 for a dollar, so there's a
whole lotta lime-squeezin' goin' on.

ground beef or chicken, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sometimes avocado.

Never cottage cheese. This is the first I've heard of it, and I've resolved to block it from my memory.
