well, dammit

power has been out for almost an hour, fans aren't running and it is hot as hell. Not even storming here or anything (about 15 miles away and another big one down on the border at Douglas/AP.

Had a flat last night so no spare on the "good" truck but I guess it is time to go for a drive and save my laptop battery in case we are out all night.

dang just logged on for the evening too.

try to carry on with out me, I have faith in the Lounge

I remember when it came out - my first experience with strange xtian "activists" that were so pissed about it.

power out for one hour 20 minutes. not too bad, but kind of long for modern days. I remember it going out all night on stormy summer nights. Grandma's candle drawer would get opened and we would light a few to eat supper and then either sit on the porch and watch the lightening or go to bed.
