I mean he's athletic even for a professional athlete, one of those guys that's going to retire to run marathons and climb mountains some distant future day. He chose football, I'm pretty sure he could have found success in most sports.

I'm just happy to see someone actually look excited to throw out a first pitch for once.

He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs to be a pitcher. His accountant says he made the right decision.

He could only pitch if his start came up in the middle of the week and he couldn't very well pitch if the Niners are home and the Giants are in Philadelphia. But then what happens if the Giants make it to the World Series and he's scheduled to start Game 1 in Baltimore on Thursday while the Niners have a huge matchup against the Seahawks on Sunday.

I suppose he could always play baseball from April-July and then just do the occasional spot start should both teams' schedules match up right.
