Walk by the docks (pic heavy dial up warning)...

I posted these in the photography forum as well, not sure if it's ok to cross post, let me know if not.

Took a long walk today down to the docks and train yard along the North Vancouver shoreline. I took a bunch of
pics, these are the best I've developed.

You have a good eye for color an composition. I'm curious what camera you use. Was it pricey? Nice sharp images.

It's a Pentax K20D with a 16 to 55 kit lens. It was about 1600 when I bought it I think which puts it in the low end price range of good SLRs, though not quite entry level. It's still a nice camera though like with all tech I'm so jelouse of what I could get now for this price, lol.

If I were making the same buying decision now I'd probably go with a similarly priced Canon camera, though there is nothing wrong with this one.

The chain must be part of the old chip yards down there. They used to build ships down in that area and are regearing to build more as they won a new contract. There is old refuse down by the water from the old yards that make for nice photos.
