6. I got a bad burn on my hand when I was a kid with a sparkler

because I didn't realize they could still be very hot after the sparkles go out. My dad got me a pistol that shot fireworks up in the air that would explode into starry bursts and I nearly shot his eye out the first time I tried it. After that, my dad would only get me those Chinese type bunches of tiny firecrackers tied together and I took them apart to set them off one at a time. And I'd manage to sneak some bottle rockets into my arsenal.
