Have to work tomorrow, though. I expect it will either be slammed, or a narcolepsy telethon. Holiday weeks are usually slow, right up until the Friday that spells 'no more clinical care until Monday.'

I don't think my life would be complete without a visit to New York.

I've been within sight of the city 5 times, but haven't actually visited it yet.

I've been through JFK twice, but I never count the airport as a visit.

Personally, I fly in and out of Stewart Airport or Albany. They are smaller. Less stress.

Happy 4th, Aristus. And thank you, Will.

The Band of HM's Grenadier Guards in front of Blenheim Palace where a boy was born who go on to say to the US Congress, "Had my father been an American and my mother English instead of the other way, I might have gotten here on my own."

The ties that bind.

when I was in the high school marching band. Love Sousa marches.

I once saw the Empire Brass Quintet in concert. They played TS&SF, and the tuba played the famous piccolo part. It was amazing. Every jaw in the audience dropped...

Will says: "Pegeen, lass! Oceans of love! Thy fair countenance graces the fertile fields of Italy, does it not? Adieu then, love, until you come homeward once again!"
