The bastard who keeps it up should have his ass kicked repeatedly. I don't usually say that sort of thing but this one hits a real nerve with me.

My older brother used to do that to me all the time when we were kids. All that was ever said was "well, boys be boys" or "toughen up." He would jump out from hidden places or just around the corner all the time. I wasn't fucking good sport about it - I had no choice but to take it.

It appears to me these folks are in a French restaurant. I'd be surprised if the guy even considered complaining. Jobs are no easier to get in France than here.

Frustrating and maddening. The guy ought to fake a heart attack. Make Mr. Pranster believe he killed his mark.

I worked in a Cuckoo's Nest of a State Hospital, in my early. 20's. The staff was always on guard for attacks. You just didn't let patients get behind you. I was jumpy for quite a while after that. I would really be pissed if anyone thought it was funny to spook me. I was prepared to defend myself.
