The Talibornagain appear to be in charge. I don't believe in the ideals anymore because, no matter who we elect, it never gets better. So no flag-waving from me this year. I'm through.

When all seemed immutable, and the robber barons seem to have won all they wanted. And they stole everything to get there.

But we beat them once. And although feckless idiots like Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush were successful in stealing back for the criminal 1% what was rightfully ours, we will triumph again. I believe that. I hope you will, too...

That song got my attention first time I heard it. Even after my disappointment that it was just another 'yankee beer commercial', the catchy melody continued to give me warm and fuzzies. Do you know who the woman is singing and playing the guitar...???

Oh and Happy Birthday Uncle Sam!
