Very beautiful, doesn't even look real. I see from Wiki that this is a North American moth which is nice to see. So many of the bright and beautiful insects of the world live in the tropics.

If they were as large as some of the other Saturnid silk moths they would really get attention. I see a few every summer, maples, mostly red and silver, are one of the two dominant species here, the other being the various oaks.
