I hadn't thought about Commander Cody in about a generation.
I went to see him at the Lone Star Cafe on my 18th birthday.
Actually, since I got there before midnight, it wasn't really my birthday yet.
The bouncer made me wait outside, and at exactly midnight he came and got me and let me in, and bought me my first legal beer in a bar.
Good times...
