The bass sounds a little off tempo.

I'd post some from the husband's new band but they can't figure out Youtube. Old guys...

How you been? You've been a little MIA lately.

Yeah well, what can I say. I was chewing gum when we recorded these.

Been well thanks, super busy. Just taking a little breather after six months on MIRT.

You reminded me of a guitar player friend of mine.

He chews gum, plays guitar and taps his foot...all at different beats. Drives drummers nuts! :chuckles:

So good to hear this after all this time. Sweet!!!
.
You've got some extra little clicking percussion thing going on. During the
first song, it was only when the singer wasn't singing and it made me laugh
and remember that I could NEVER multi-task when I was singing.
.
I'd sing... THEN play the klaves... then sing... THEN play the klaves, etc.
.

.
.
But on the second song, it's goin' on when he's singing... so I'm lost.
.
.
.Good stuff, my brother!!!

Ya know, I hadn't noticed that clicking before. My drummer used his Roland electric kit for these recordings and there's all kinds of patches he can program on the various triggers. I'll have to ask him about that. Damn good drummer, been playing with him for about 15 years.

Glad you enjoyed the tunes!

He was a good drummer and an EXCELLENT person -- the peacekeeper of the
group... especially during hot rehearsal sessions.
.
He kept his shit together when all about him were losing theirs.
