... finding an old aircraft THERE would be interesting.

If I was Superman I'd always be pulling pranks like putting old aircraft on Mars where the rovers can find them.

I toured a hangar in Breckenridge, Texas owned by a company that restores WWII aircraft. The work they do is incredible. You can't tell the finished product from a brand new aircraft.

I suspect gophers removed it to sell for scrap and gave up after hauling it a whopping thirty feet, "It's hard work".
