Black Sabbath's new song "End of the Beginning"...Tony Iommi goes apeshit

The opening track of "13" is sort of a mini-catalog of every Sabbath trick in the book...starts off slow and leaden, like the actual track "Black Sabbath"...then gradually picks up tempo and intensity. 4:42 mark, Iommi plays his first solo...amazing as always. This is a guy who was still going through chemo when the album was recorded. The second half has a feel closer to "Snowblind."

At the six minute mark, Ozzy starts crooning in this kind of weary, stoned, John Lennon-esq voice (think "I Want You She's So Heavy&quot , "Alright, OK, alright...till they set you free....alright, OK, alright...till they set you free...." at 6:17, Iommi comes in with his second solo, slithering out of the fade in Ozzy's vocals, and it's a mix of "wring that neck" and lightning arpeggio notes. Just fucking AMAZING.

In the middle of the solo, Ozzy howls:

"I don't want to see youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah...I don't want to see youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah..."

"End of the Beginning"...all eight minutes of it...opens the album with a gut punch that lets you know that the band had at least one more killer album in them.
