since I was a kid visiting my cousins in Maryland. 40+ years ago...
A jar and some fireflies, that's all we needed for hours of fun. Having awesome cousins probably helped too I reckon.

at dusk and put them on our chest and watch the bats swoop down!

None here yet -- SW PA. I hope they are on their way south.
Last night was a perfect firefly night.... clear after a rainy day.... but didn't see a one.
