(47,953 posts)Just run elections where the only 2 choices are both picked out by the same 0.001%ers. Make sure no outsider can win by making elections so expensive that candidates have to beg the 0.001%ers for money, and be beholden to their desires. Dictators have a nasty habit of thinking on their own and going 'off the reservation'. Better to change figureheads evey 4-8 years to make sure they don't get any independent thoughts. Also keeps the rubes happy, thinking they live in a 'democracy' and have hope for a real choice.

(31,849 posts)all of the time, there is fition in fiction.
Our perceptives and sensibilities (understanding) are highly affected by our frame of mind when we watch/read/enjoy fiction. Who, amo soong us, has NOT had an epiphany related to something we were struggling with, while watching/reading/enjoying a work of unrelated fiction?
