I was looking for the exit, but his steely blue eyes saw right through me.

Those eye! Those wonderful eyes!

2. Today he went outside and

after doing his business he goes over to a patch of grass burrs and sits down in the middle . . .

and tries to eat them, picking out out burrs one at a time . . .

but he is unsuccessful at this and just gets a lot of burrs all in his beard . . .

so he lays down in the burrs and wiggles all around in them . . .

and then when I go over to pick him up he rolls over and wants me to rub his tummy. . .

and then I spend the next 30 minutes pulling burrs off of him.

Yeah, I just love when that happens.

Of course, wallowing in burrs is better than wallowing in poo . . .
