that they cut out the part where the song says, "There's victory in the Lord I say" - why would they do that? It's part of the song. Then they do include the part where it says "Cling to the Father and His holy name." It's not controversial, the song is on the radio. Things like this just add to the paranoia of the "religious right" who think they're under attack. Completely unnecessary to cut that part out.
